Important to know
When you are considering Lake Point Academy, there are a few things that we consider essential for you to know up front:
Lake Pointe Academy is about discipleship first.
If your family is not a Christian family that loves, follows, and worships Jesus all week long, your student is unlikely to thrive here. We are an educational ministry —more than a school and not a church—and we leverage an educational model as our tool to help children grow in relationship with Christ.
Lake Pointe Uses a University Model System.
The University Model requires intimate parent involvement. Students learn on campus and at home, alternating throughout the 5-day week. The UMS program uses both professional instruction and parental assistance in a college-like format to build character and a strong work ethic, knowledge, and understanding in pursuit of biblical wisdom.
Lake Pointe is Challenging
We follow a rigorous Classical Christian Liberal Arts curriculum. We believe the Classical Christian approach is the best method to provide solid knowledge, leading to understanding and wisdom. Our goal is to promote a love for learning about God and our world in order to develop a Christian worldview and relationship with Jesus Christ to live a life to glorify Him.
We routinely receive reports from our graduates that Lake Pointe didn't just help students get to college, but prepared them for success once they are in college.
