Drama
The early Greeks developed theater hundreds of years before Jesus. Since that time, dramatization has been an integral part of Western tradition in both church and comedy.
As in other areas of study and practice at Lake Pointe, students gain confidence through the dramatic arts. They do this by memorizing lines and by practicing projection, timing, and dramatic movement.
The actors also learn to take direction in order to improve, an important stage in maturity. Off stage, these artistic skills pay off in many different areas of a student's life.
