The Lake Pointe Mariners ran in the SCACS state finals last Saturday on the SIM campus in Fort Mill. Running against seven other schools, a majority of the LPA's participants set new personal records with their finishing times.

The Mariners finish 6th overall, the girls' team finished 3rd, and all three seniors placing in the top ten of their groups--Isaiah Mayhall finished fourth in the guy's run while Haden Mccarter finished 3rd and Emma Shearer finished 7th in the girl's race.Congratulation on a great season, cross country runners!
