Monitoring surroundings when students are at recess, involved in outside classes or activities. 

Morning and afternoon drop-off and pick-up, assisting with traffic and cross-walk direction and monitoring.

Use your artistic and flair to teach students how to prepare professional displays. 

These are tasks requiring one or two people and as little as one hour

Part of the goal to fully equip the gymnasium is the installation of sixty lockers behind the benches on the far, western side. These standard sized, over and under metal lockers are original to the private fitness club Fit as a Fiddle that became the Crossings YMCA. They were taken out of the locker rooms when Lake Pointe renovated the campus. 

This project likely involves a group of people,  significant time, and tools. 

1. Move the locker sets (8 to 12 locker units) from the upper storage area.
2. Pressure wash all units.
3. Paint the units dark green. There are two covered outdoor locations for this.
4. Measure in the gym for correct placement
5. Create wood box-frame floor bases in the gym
6. Install the lockers, setting them on the bases and fastening them to the metal walls.

We need C-A-R-E-F-U-L and professional lines painted on the paved drop-off loop so students can play four-square and other games. This requires some skill, patience, and attention to detail for a helpful finished product. 

The three acre or so area inside the Event Center lower fenced field needs to be bush hogged. 

It has already previously been cut down, so the area is free of dangerous debris, but the grass and brush has returned. 

Use a tractor to manipulate materials. 

There is a pile of mulch and a pile of gravel. 

These need to be moved a short distance from their location behind the Event Center chain link fence to free up space for better student outdoor classroom use. 

Some of the gravel needs to be moved and spread in driving and parking areas. 

The paved area under the pavilion (former cart shed) needs to be scraped of light dirt and debris. 

It is time to touch up and repaint several areas, over weekends, during breaks, etc. 

If you are a careful painter and want to claim an area to beautify, here is your opportunity. 

Bollards at the drop-off loop, rooms, halls, stair cases, baths, etc. need to be scheduled over the year. 

We want to paint the wooden dumpster enclosures with a dark green paint/stain. 

This will help visually improve these two fenced enclosures and help the wood to better endure the weather. 

Very simple painting, but the wood will be thirsty, so a couple of coats will be necessary.
