History is the study of the unfolding of the relationship between God and man. At LPA, it is taught as a progression through time (Ancienct, Medieval, Early Modern, and Modern). The 9-12 progression, builds on and digs deeper than the previous progressions (1-4 and 5-8). The 9th and 10th grade levels covers each era in the course of a semester. The focus in 11th grade narrows to the history of the United States of America. In 12th grade, the focus continues to narrow into the study of U.S. Government and Economics.
