Kid shirts = free tickets

At Mariners basketball teams younger members might get a seat in the stands without paying at the door.
The varsity teams invite their younger fans to get a taste of Mariner round ball with a special season-long deal:
* Buy a shirt
Varsity players Ryan Kidd and GiGi Palacio model the youth shirt.
* Wear the shirt
* Walk on in
* Mom or dad walks in, too
Elementary students wearing one of the special white youth basketball shirts get in any and all home Mariner basketball games at no charge. And, recognizing that none of the elementary students can drive themselves -- one adult gets in free with the shirt, too.
The shirts are available for sale in various sizes at the school front desk. Many students already have one through the recent youth camp or through purchase. The price is $10, which is pretty good for a quality shirt, and that means the no-charge admission for the entire season is a big plus.
