Nat'l speakers @ Aug. training

Training plans for "Impact week!," the parent and teacher training week before classes resume, August 6-9, are firming up. The theme is "Let's be practical."

   Parent co-teachers and faculty members will have joint training sessions Monday through Thursday, so that the partners will have greater unity through a shared vision and vocabulary for success. Special evening sessions are planned to include fathers and faculty spouses. Please note there will be nothing scheduled for Friday, August 10. To view the schedule, click here.

   Leading many of the training sessions will be two nationally known educators, encouragers and equippers:

• Dr. Kathy Koch, who spoke to LPA students and families in April
• Andrew Kern, president of the CiRCE Institute who spoke at last year's parent-teacher dinner
