Miller lifts student life
Chris Miller returns to boost student life, sports
This homecoming gives LPA a great boost in the student life department.
Five years ago, Chris Miller served as a student intern. It was the first year LPA was at its current campus, when his mother Melody Miller, one of the school’s founders, handled operations.
Now, having earned a double major in Bible and Intercultural Studies, and back in the area pursuing graduate studies at Gordon-Conwell Seminary, he’s serving Lake Pointe in a key role. As Student Life Activities Coordinator, Chris interacts with secondary students in planning and executing assemblies, retreats, and events. He will also facilitate clubs and student fellowships, in addition to assisting and encouraging leaders on the Student Service Council.
Athletically gifted, he will support Athletic Director Marc Kurtz as a sports liaison. Their relationship has already been close in that Chris is the head volleyball coach for the men’s and women’s volleyball teams this season. Finally, he lends his technology skills to teach one class, the computer applications course.
