When paint balls fly!
A group consisting of students, parents, staff, and alumni
took the field of battle in LPA seventh annual "Thanksgiving Paintball Event." The group spent the Monday of the break reenacting famous battles and otherwise having fun in the fast-paced game of paintball.
The outing was started by former history instructor Glen Hawley and perpetuated by history instructor Ben Smith.
In this year's reenactment, students still flinched in the 18th century style volley line skirmishes. Meanwhile, in another historical battle, the "Texans" fought fiercely, but lost the Alamo -- again, outflanked by an endless supply of "Mexican infantry."
