Lady Mariners' return all starters;

Earning last year's state runner-up sets bar high

The Lady Mariners made it all the way to the championship game, earning the runner-up for the SCACS state 1A division.

Quick Facts:

• The Lady Mariners leveraged defense to make it all the way to the championship game of the state tournament. Their efforts captured the #2 spot in the SCACS state 1A.

• Lake Pointe competes in the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS) league.

For 2012-13, all starters return, providing experience. Additionally, registration of interest for this season has set a school record, offering an infusion of fresh talent.

Practice gyms: The Mariners are grateful for the generosity and hospitality of Allison Creek Presbyterian and Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.

Home games will be held at the YMCA gym at Carolina Crossings on Shiloh Road.
