* Beginning with the graduating class of 2013: For the Honors Diploma, at least half (8 credits) of the core courses – English, history, math, and science -- must be successfully completed at the honors level.
One unit is equivalent to a full academic year (two semesters) of study.
All candidates must register for and successfully complete the minimum number of required units for their identified type of diploma. Refer to the academic handbook for courses which must be completed at LPA and procedures for transfering credits from other institutions.
The college preparatory diploma exceeds or meets the requirements for university qualification as set by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
