Is LPA affiliated with a church?

Lake Pointe was founded with support from New River Community Church of Lake Wylie, SC. While not providing financial support, New River supplies assistance in several practical ways:

   • Prayer
   • Broad oversight
   • Ministry accountability
   • Volunteer help around the campus

New River is not involved in the day-to-day operation of the academic or extracurricular programs. New River is a non-denominational ministry with its main campus and offices located a few miles from the school on Highway 49 in Lake Wylie. The church also uses LPA's campus as a satellite location, holding weekend worship services.
