No, but there are many excellent area church-run child care and pre-school programs for younger children.Our educational program begins with an academic K-5 kindergarten which meets two days per week.

Students bring their own lunches. A canteen area offers four microwaves for heating.

Operating as an inter-denominational ministry, LPA is not affiliated with any particular denomination. At last count, 28 different local congregations were represented among the school's families and faculty.
A Mariner is not an Italian sauce. That would be marinara. Great for dipping, but lousy mascot. A mariner is a sea-going voyager who leaves the shore’s safety and comfort to heed his Captain’s call.
The answer might surprise you, so hang on. We believe God gifts every student in unique ways; therefore not all students are "academically" gifted. This simply means that a student with less "natural" academic talent will have to compensate with character -- traits such as diligence (hard work), perseverance (sticking with it), and humility (seeking help).
