Campus Prayer List

April 05, 2021
By LPA staff

Join us by Praying:

The Lord’s continued guidance, direction, unity, favor, and blessing upon the school.

Wisdom for the team that will work to acquire and improve the facility on behalf of the school.

Continued favor in the eyes of governmental officials and all of those who will labor on our behalf (contractors, engineers, architects, subcontractors, etc.).

Safety for everyone involved.

Excellence and success converting the prospective campus to the future home of LPA Mariners!

The Lord’s continued provision and preparation to facilitate this opportunity.

Supplications & Prayers:

We are humbled by the goodness of our King and thankful in all things.  Please join us in supplications & prayers to our Lord throughout this journey.  There is much that must first be approved by York county officials and our bank before we can move forward with closing on this property.

We would ask that you pray with us on a daily basis.  Our father taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,[b]
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,[c]
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
     but deliver us from evil.

We find further encouragement about or life in Christ and prayer in I John and I Thessalonians

I John 5:1-15

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.  In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,  for everyone born of God overcomes the world.

This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify:  the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son.  Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.  And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

I Thessalonians 5:16-18. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Prayer Requests:

 Wisdom & Discernment – Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

Favor from York County planning, fire, DOT, commission – I Timothy 2:1-2

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,  for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

                  Favor for change of use

                  Favor for special parking request

Favor for use of the second floor for education

Favor for an expedited approval for our civil engineering plan

Favor with DOT that we will not need to add a turning lane

Favor for an expedited approval of our facility design (separated fire areas)

Favor with the homeowners association regarding fields and parking Galatians 5:14

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Pray for the workers who will build the campus.  Proverbs 18:10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

Pray that we can raise funding for the campus.  II Corinthians 9:7

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency[b] in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor his righteousness endures forever.”  He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Pray that the property on Hands Mill will sell quickly and for a fair market price.  Leviticus 25:14

And if you make a sale to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.

Pray that we will be good stewards of God’s resources.  I Chronicles 29:12

Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.

Pray for the teachers, for the executive team, the board, the families & the ministry of Lake Pointe Academy.  I Peter 4:10

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace
