Training will be led by LPA teacher and certified Excellence in Writing instructor, Sarah Speer. A 3-hour morning camp will serve elementary students and parents. The 3-hour afternoon camp will serve rising 7th- 9th grade students and parents.
While the training will be addressed to the students, the parents' presence helps mom and dad know how to better assist their children. With parents having firsthand understanding and knowledge of techniques and reasons, the student is much more likely to retain -- and use!-- the skills engaged in the workshop.
