Mariners capture #3 in state tourney

Quick Facts:
• The Mariners ended their fourth basketball season by winning through the play-offs to earn a trip to the state 1A "final four." After losing a heart-breaker in the semi-finals, the varsity roared back in the consolation game to earn the third spot.
• Last year, in its first seaon officially competing in the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS) league, both the JV and varsity squads earned their way to the playoffs.
Practice gyms: The Mariners are grateful for the generosity and hospitality of Allison Creek Presbyterian and Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.
Home games: Cheer the Mariners at the YMCA gym at Carolina Crossings.
