Junior Varsity Men's Basketball

The Mariner men's junior varsity has the prospect of its largest roster ever, providing fresh talent to a team that loses a few starters from last year.

Last year, the LPA JV was the SCACS 1A state champion, after going undefeated in the tournament against tough competition from around the state.

The Mariner men's junior varsity is the SCACS 1A state champion.  

To get there, the junior Mariners had to out gun four excellent opponents in one week. After traveling to Sumter to earn their way to the tournament, the LPA squad downed South Carolina teams from Union and Hardeeville. Finally, against a very competitive team in tournament host Mountain View Christian Academy, LPA came out on top 45-37 in Cowpens.
  
In addition to the championship, two Mariner players were honored by tournament officials by being named to the all-tournament team for superior play and sportsmanship.
